As Head of Performance Music and Director of Strings at Brisbane Boys’ College, Theo Kotzas conducts the String Ensembles, College Symphony and teaches violin, viola and classroom instrumental lessons.  Theo enjoys an association with the Queensland Youth Orchestra, as a member of the audition panel, tutor and board member for that organisation.  Theo is also a member of the Queensland Symphony Orchestra’s Educators’ panel.  He was the 2015 Queensland recipient of the AUSTA State Award.  Theo has recently been appointed a State Examiner for the Australian Music Examination Board.
