Christine Wang obtained her Bachelor of Music degree with Honours from the University of Queensland, and graduated with Master of Music degree in Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. Since 2006 she has been the principal cellist of the Queensland Pops Orchestra. As a soloist she has performed many cello concertos and she also plays baroque cello. Christine has adjudicated at various eisteddfods, competitions and presented at the Cairns Music Conference. Christine is an A.M.E.B. examiner. She has a busy teaching schedule in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast. Currently Christine teaches cello at Somerville House, St Peter's Lutheran College and The Southport School.
