Daniel Holloway

Daniel Holloway has taught strings with Education Queensland for 25 years. His ensembles have achieved numerous honours and many of his former students have pursued careers in music and teaching or continue to enjoy making music while following other professions. In 2004 Daniel undertook a teaching exchange in Shanghai, China. He has taken a number of conducting courses with Symphony Australia and other organisations, and is also president of AUSTA Q. Before taking up his present teaching position Daniel played with the Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras.

 

Daniel's seminar, Method in the Madness – A Survey of Method Books,  will help you find what you need in a method book, how to use it effectively and make the most out of it and perhaps even develop your own path through a number of methods.
