Connie Garrett-Benson (B Mus, GradDipEd) is an educator and musician with over two decades of teaching experience in private practice, state and independent schools across SE Queensland. A graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, she has worked with professional orchestras and conducted professional development in double bass teaching.

 

Connie believes that learning to play a musical instrument should be available to all. She is passionate about creating collaborative music-making opportunities. Currently teaching at Brisbane Girls Grammar, Somerville House and All Hallows, Connie continues to perform regularly and runs a busy teaching studio.
